I am just watching the programme on voluntary euthasia. I am appalled at Hone Kaa making such a nasty racist remar to lesley Martihn "you'r just like all the other pakeha". I take umbridge at low nasty remark. How would it be if someone made a generalised remark " Your just like all the other Maori". There would ne an uproar. Willie Jackson why didnt you pull him up? .It doesnt make for good race relations.

Listening to nearly all of the guests except for lesley Martin everybody else seemed too busy looking from the perspect ive of a person who can not "let go" of someone they care about instead of looking from the perspective of a person who might feel that this option can give them some peace. People who publicly comment on issues like this should experience first hand both sides before opening their mouths.

Hey, listen up, I'm a student at Te Wananga o Aotearoa and at present i am doing a piece of research in Social Services and my topic is - yep - euthanasia. This programme has given me great insight and made me more aware of the "wants, needs, and issues of this group. I am so proud of Leslie Martin in the way she handled the pressure from all directions, and Hone, show some respect for this lady, tikanga is about respecting the korero of others. MAURI ORA !!!

euthanasia is wrong, it is wrong to mess with someones distress to find out about their situation. Think of the doctors or nurses that might have to be told to commit the act of killing another ( MY PROTEST IS NOT CLASSED AS REDERICK AND I WILL NOT ACCEPT THE IDEA OF TAKING MURDER OUT OF EUTHANAISA BECAUSE THAT IS IM AFRAID THE FACTS). think of the family feudes, the idea of abandoning your family, everyone you taking their hop away and how exactly are we going to go about euthanizing people, turning off their life support dosent fit all senarios eg remember the american lady who became in vegitated state? the husban went to court and was given the right euthanaize her againts her parents wishes. how she was euthanized was to be starved to death it was broadcasted all over the world a month or so (I think five months) she died. Are taxpayers or the current health budet going to spend up euthanaisa poison. Think about this senario, your at a hospital to find out you have brain cancer and sugery is to risky 80% risk of failure they say your dying so euthanaisa is the answer NO! of course not rather than risk sugery they will mess with you and give you an idea of killing yourself. finally I like to just say this, in this whole life we live we experience death only once it is the most destructive thing next to your horrible illness and pain it will stop you from moving, stop you from breatheing stop your heart shut down your organs take all your memories and everyone you know and love will be forggoten, you wont hear feel tast or speak you will be cold quiet and buried and if you dont beleive in a after life through serving jesus you will truly be indeed nonexistent, dead. euthanaisa is murder it is assisted suicide and it is wrong.
