Willie Jackson is away this week so filling in for him is John Tamihere. This week we’re looking at education and the Maori abysmal failure rate…particularly amongst our boys. Is it because of feminisation? Is it because of an inherently racist structure? Or is it because we’ve seen a decline in proud Maori boarding schools.
Joining John to discuss this is the Minister of Education Chris Carter, Maori Party Education spokesman, Te Ururoa Flavell, National’s education spokeswoman Anne Tolley and Maori educator and head of Tu Toa, Nathan Durie.

Eye to Eye is back for 2008. It’s our fifth year!!
